  • Previous experience in forging relationships with contributors on fast turn around documentaries, as well as maintaining access over extended periods of time.
  • I am fluent in French and Spanish.

    Skills:

    Technical skills: Cameras – Sony PMW200 & 300, CanonXF305, Z1 & Z7 and mini-cams). DV Talent – 360 Shooting and Directing Course on CanonXF305. Booming and knowledge of various radio mics Managing data-wrangling from self-shot footage to a 5 month production with 4 directors shooting daily. KIT: owns GoPro Hero3 kit.

    Self-shooting: Experienced in researching, scripting and self-shooting sequences both within a team on multi-camera shoots as well as also producing and directing sequences independently.

    Development & Casting: Experienced in both developing new concepts for future productions as well as really getting to grips and moving forward with an existing proposal. Confident in both phone bashing & finding contributors on location, assessing not only character potential but also possible story lines, writing up recce notes & persuading relevant contributors to take part.

    Setting up location filming and assisting on location: Organising filming schedules for both UK and abroad locations, liaising with contributors, managing talent, finding suitable filming locations, ensuring that all consent paperwork is carried out and logged appropriately. Assisting directors on location by monitoring script content, helping to log footage, conducting interviews and feeding & watering them as well as helping to lug gear!
